Art Museum (Beijing)

xiaoqi's last sat outing venue was the artist street and the national art museum..
the artist street turned out to be a street that are filled with many "Art Friend" (but selling at a much lower rate)...
and of course they picked up some of their favorite pen colors..

xiaoqi and her friend, marietta are going to Mongolia in their upcoming 1 week holiday!
although exams are really near.. 17 and 22 oct.. but they reckoned that a holiday is a must!
and guess how much it cost??

you will never be able to use around sgd200 to travel to Mongolia if you're in singapore! no wonder both of them is so excited right now! a shopping list for the trip is in making-in-the-process...

p/s: xiaoqi procrastinated for very long before dropping the card into the letterbox..

3 weeks into Beijing...

xiaoqi apologies for such a late update about her 3 weeks' life in Beijing..
so please bear with her as this post may get a little bit too long….

Touching down in Beijing.. 6am airport is not crowded at all.. nice cooling weather as if it’s air conditioned.. breathing in Beijing air for the 1^st time…

Home new home.. xiaoqi and her housemates headed to their new apartment while the rest of the class made their way to the school hostel…

She is not disappointed at all… expensive it may be…. It’s worth it..

Much time was spent to do up the house.. trips to ikea, carefour, 方庄市场.. etc.

Food is always her love.. and the first meal in Beijing really scared her..
for it’s utterly disgusting… luckily.. it got so much better subsequently..

Shopping.. oh yes shopping.. her second love.. and enjoyed every bits of it.. the victorious price slashing sessions and befriending with the shop keepers..

don’t belittle them for many can speak more languages than u.. well equipped for this kind of tourists driven business..

and xiaoqi had spent so so much in her 3 weeks in Beijing.. new bags, shoes, clothes, handphone, camera... ..... food.. etc etc.. she is really broke now.. hahahaha

visiting.. she had only gone to one place- summer palace to spend her mid autumn festival.. beautiful scenery.. perfect weather.. relaxing picnic.. the place was too huge to be covered in a day… xiaoqi and her friends only managed 1/8 of the place?? Hahaha…

xiaoqi sweared that the corridors was filled with people SECONDS after the shot was taken..

xiaoqi and her friends alighted at a wrong bus stop one day.. and had to walk some distance to the nearest MRT station.. and look what she found unexpectedly!!

kbox had a branch in Beijing! it sure makes alot of money~

and oh! guess what xiao qi found while shopping… something that made her day… hahahaha..

superjunior's hangeng!! xiaoqi was too paiseh to take it herself.. had to ask amanda to help her.. she also saw another one that day.. superjunior-M version.. she's waiting for the photo to be developed!~ ^^
